Alexis Arquette, 47, known for her roles in "Pulp Fiction" and "The Wedding Singer" already died, her brother Richmond Arquette confirmed with CNN. The transgender activist and actress was with her whole family during her final hours. Her cause of death was unspecified.
Alexis is a member of the famous Arquette family in Hollywood. Her siblings include Rosanna, David and Patricia Arquette. Born Robert Arquette, her journey to become a transgender was put to film entitled, "Alexis Arquette: She's My Brother."
Richmond also confirmed her death on Facebook, wherein he wrote "Our brother Robert, who became our brother Alexis, who became our sister Alexis, who became our brother Alexis, passed this morning September 11, at 12:32 am."
Her brother David, the ex-husband of Friends star, Courteney Cox tweeted a picture of him and Alexis, captioning it with "Thank you all for your love and kind words about Alexis. My hero for eternity." In February, David revealed on "Kocktails with Khloe" that Alexis no longer consider herself as a transgender. He said, his sister sometimes identifies as a man and at times, she refers as a woman. She in fact, labeled herself as a gender suspicious.
In an interview with Alexis Arquette in 2009 on the "Larry King Live" she told Dr. Drew Pinsky what her family though about her transition. She said "They weren't in denial so much as their fear was that if I came out as transgender and live my life as a woman that might receive a lot of flak from people on the street."
