'Vikings’ Season 4 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: A War Between Aslaug And Ragnar Set To Occur; Ragnar’s Death Is Now Affirmed?

"Vikings" Season 4 Episode 11 air date may not be fixed. However, fans are so excited that they can't wait to see the return of the series on screen.

On Facebook it was revealed by Katheryn Winnick, who plays Lagertha that the second half of the season, is now ready, "in the can" for the screening. Also, "Vikings" Season 4 production is completed.

In the recently concluded San Diego Comic - Con, the airing of the"Vikings" Season 4 was not revealed. This made the many expectant followers disappointed. However, there are already numerous bits and pieces of scenes and materials to view.

No need for worry and let's take a look at this. According to some news and spoilers, "Vikings" Season 4  will highlight Aslaug's (played by Alyssa Sutherland) attempt to climb to the top after Ragnar's demise. A prophecy of the Seer "stating that a woman will rule" bolstered so much confidence in her to seize the throne, thinking she is the woman in the prophecy, GamenGuide reports.

Contrary to her belief, "Vikings" Season 4 will bring Aslaug being punished unto her death because of treason in the hands of Ragnar, her husband. Fans of Ragnar may not like the upcoming episodes, as the main cast is expected to die in this season. According to Christian Today, the Vikings series creator Michael Hirst will remove Ragnar Lothbrok from the story.

With the death of Ragnar comes a new twist in the plot, as Ragnar's successor is revealed in "Vikings"   Season 4. Hirst will replace Ragnar with his sons, which will be played by young and hot actors.

Ragnar, will choose Ivar, his son (Alex Hogh Andersen) as his successor. As for the air date of "Vikings" Season 4, there has been no direct affirmation from the creator of the series.
