It has been announced that "Maze Runner 3" will finally resume filming early next year to give Dylan O'Brien some time to continue his recovery. However, fans believe that the actor is currently working on his scenes in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. If the "American Assassin" star is feeling well enough to shoot for his MTV series, why can't he immediately resume filming for the highly anticipated (and very delayed) sequel?
GamenGuide has previously reported that it is possible Dylan O'Brien could be waiting for legal actions against Fox over his accident on the set of "Maze Runner 3". However, there may be another reason why the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 actor is pushing production back to next year. Will "American Assassin" begin shooting before "The Death Cure"?
"American Assassin" has certainly been moving quickly with its casting. Just a few months after Dylan O'Brien was confirmed to join the live action adaptation of Vince Flynn's novel, the movie has added Sanaa Lathan (via Variety). The "Now You See Me 2" actress will portray Irene Kennedy opposite O'Brien's Mitch Rapp. It has not yet been confirmed when the film will start production, but there is a huge possibility that the thriller will be shot soon, but not before "Maze Runner 3".
