'Mass Effect: Paragon Lost,' 'Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn' And Other Great gifts For Video Gamer

4. "Assassin's Creed: Forsaken" Novel:

If the gamer in your life is a fan of Ubisoft's recently released Assassin's Creed III, they will love the new novel by Oliver Bowden. The book tells the story of Haytham Kenway and how he learned to be such a skilled killer. The story gives player of the game a deeper look at the character and explains things that were only hinted at in the video game.  It is great stocking stuffer and only $9.99 on Amazon

3. "Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn" Blu-ray/DVD:

Earlier this year, 343 Industries and Microsoft produce a web series based on the video game franchise. The series was created for the promotion of the video game Halo 4 and has now been collect and released as a feature length film on DVD and Blu-ray.  The film is about Thomas Lasky, a freshman officer cadet struggling to fit in at the prestigious Corbulo Academy of Military Science. The action soon heats up when the Covenant show up and space everybody. Master Chief makes a few short but awesome appearances. Walmart currently has the Blu-ray for $16.99.

2. "Mass Effect: Paragon Lost" Digital Copy/Blu-ray/DVD:

This animated feature length film is based on the award winning Mass Effect video game series. The movie is a prequel to the best-selling video game Mass Effect 3, and follows the early career of Alliance Marine, James Vega, who is voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr. Vega leads an elite Special Forces squad into battle against a mysterious alien threat known as the Collectors. The Blu-ray does actually release in till Dec. 28, but the digital version is already available for download on Xbox Live and PlayStation network. So could just buy the gamer a PSN or Xbox Live gift card. The Blu-ray is currently going for $19.86 on Amazon.

Don't know what to buy? This is the easy and least thoughtful gift you can get, but for gamer this can be the best gift. Give your gamer a gift cards from Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, Radio Shack, Target, Amazon and many other fine retailers. Gamers are an erratic bunch and their tastes vary. So save some time and gift them plastic card with money values.
