"Attack on Titan" Chapter 85 is expected to reveal some secrets and questions that may finally be answered. The manga series will feature Eren and the rest of the members of the corps as they dig into the mystery in the next chapter of the series entitled "Basement."
In the "Attack on Titan" Chapter 85 of Hajime Isayama's giant-laden manga series, Armin Arlert will finally gain consciousness following the team's ordeal with the titan form of Bertolt. Although awake, Armin will be bothered by visions of Colossus Titan. However, he would be stopped by the sleeping Sasha Blouse, who is still recovering from wounds.
According to "Attack on Titan" Chapter 85 reports, Levi Ackerman has regrouped the other corps members and told Eren to tell Armin about what happened when he was knocked out cold. Following this, Armin asks them the reason why Titan serum was given to him instead of Erwin Smith. After a long discussion, the team starts heading towards the ancestral home of Eren.
Upon arrival, they found out that the house was not damaged by flames that came out of Bertolot's titan. The team then cleared the debris and discovered a basement door, where, upon conducting a thorough search, they found a locked drawer that was opened using a long kept key from Eren. Under a secret compartment of the drawer, they soon discovered three journals, which later read by Eren, Vine Report reported.
"Attack on Titan" Chapter 85 reports also revealed details through scanned photos. The leak showed Survey Corps finding Dr. Yeager's basement that he also uses as his laboratory. Several layers of books containing information inside and beyond the Walls were discovered by the team.
A post on Fuku-Shuu Tumbler page also reveals that Armin survived because of the decision made by Commander Erwin Smith in the past episode, where Armin must be the one to acquire the Titan Serum.
