Fans of the Grey couple cannot hide their excitement as a new teaser trailer and poster have been released for the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie. The two will be reprising their roles, which were first seen on the first installment of the Fifty Shades series.
The erotic thriller film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James has been a huge success, which was launched during Valentine's Day last 2014, and it received countless positive reviews. The movie earned $571 million worldwide with only a $40 million budget. And now, the Fifty Shades series is back via the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie, which seems to be asking fans to "slip into something a shade darker."
Fifty Shades Darker Poster and Official Trailer
The released poster for the movie "Fifty Shades Darker" shows the mysterious, multi-millionaire Christian Grey, which is played by Jamie Dornan, putting up a masquerade mask on his beloved Anastasia Steele, which is played by Dakota Johnson. Aside from the poster, a teaser trailer of "Fifty Shades Darker" was also released showing some of its very sexy shots. It features some of the official trailers' highlight form fireworks, Anastasia's legs, masks and Christian Gray with Ms. Steele in front of a mirror.
Change In Directors
Both Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will be reprising their roles in the upcoming "Fifty Shades Darker" movie. However, sadly, the person who directed the "Fifty Shades of Grey," Sam-Taylor Johnson, will not be a part of the sequel. According to Forbes, there were rumors before that Director Johnson had some arguments with the author E.L. James during the making of the first instalment of the Fifty Shades series.
Director Johnson will be replaced by James Foley who also directed some of "House of Cards" episodes. The screenwriter of the "Fifty Shades Darker" will also be replaced by Niall Leonard, who happens to be E.L. James' husband.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is set to be launched on February 10, 2017 that will go against "John Wicker: Chapter 2" from Lionsgate and "The LEGO Batman Movie" from Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for the latest news and updates about the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie.
