Marvel is known to release high-impact films based from their comics and their latest public offering is "Doctor Strange." The comic itself has attracted readers because of its trippy story and visuals and the movie is expected to be as psychedelic as the comics.
"Doctor Strange" revolves around a seemingly ordinary guy named Stephen Strange who ends up realizing that he is not so ordinary after all. Benedict Cumberbatch will play Stephen Strange in Marvel's latest offering. Although some fans of the comics are still doubtful if "Doctor Strange" featurette will give justice to the comics, Cumberbatch is confident that the featurette will not disappoint.
"Doctor Strange" featurette will be a powerhouse cast as it features Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton and Benedict Wong. According to Slash Film, this "Doctor Strange" featurette will be the opening for the major "Doctor Strange" movie.
Admittedly, "Doctor Strange" is the least known and most mysterious character in Marvel universe. The featurette is aimed to catch the attention of the viewers and fire some intrigue to pave way for "Doctor Strange" movie.
"Doctor Strange" featurette will let the audience into the life of Doctor Stephen Strange, a neuro-surgeon who got into an unfortunate car accident. The said accident left Doctor Strange unable to use his hands. Being a medical practitioner himself, he finds himself desperate to find a cure for his condition. Unable to find answers in the traditional medical way, he resorts to a higher and mysterious power, trying to find a solution in Kamar-Taj.
Eventually, Doctor Strange discovers a magical world full of spells and secrets and he ends up getting engrossed with the new world he discovered. He ditches his old life as a neuro-surgeon and proceeds to go saving the world and dealing with the fact that he has become the world's most powerful sorcerer. Marvel's "Doctor Strange" premieres on Nov. 4.
