Fallout 4 Announced By DJ Three Dog Voice Actor?

Is Bethesda Game Studios gearing up to release the next entry in its action role-playing open world Fallout franchise?

Well according to a recent tweet from the voice actor of Fallout 3's radio DJ Three Dog, Bethesda intends to return to the post apocalyptic world, according to a recent article on IGN.

Actor Erik Todd Dellums tweeted on his personal Twitter account: "To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming! Fingers crossed!"

After being asked if he was serious, he tweeted: "How was that for a tease! I was given permission to release that tease, so fingers crossed."

IGN says that it has heard rumor of Fallout 4 being set in a post apocalyptic version of Boston. IGN reports that there were scouts from Bethesda checking out the area around the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The most recent edition in the franchise was the Obsidian Entertainment developed Fallout: New Vegas, which featured a post-apocalyptic environment set in and around Las Vegas, Nevada. The area is now called "The Mojave Wasteland," which is roughly the same size as the "Capital Wasteland" from Fallout 3. The Mojave Wasteland spreads across parts of real-world Nevada, Arizona, and California.

The game was not a direct sequel to Bethesda developed Fallout 3, but returns many of the elements found in the first two entries of the franchise. Many employees of Obsidian Entertainment had previously worked for Black Isle Studios on Fallout and Fallout 2.

If the rumors of Boston or should we say the New England setting are true, what real life landmarks would you like to see in the new video game? Would you like to seem the game play more like Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas? Let us know what you think in the comment section below...
