In "Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens," Kylo Ren murdered Han Solo, leading many to speculate that another Skywalker has killed his own father. However, social media users began discussing the possibilities immediately after the film. One fan stated that in "The Force Awakens," it was never mentioned that Kylo was Han or Leia's son. Although they mentioned "bring our son home," they may be referring to how they consider the villain as their own son, even though they are not his biological parents.
The Week cited one user in stating that every single line in "Star Wars 7" was written in a mysterious way. This is so that when their true son is revealed, viewers will realize that the "son" they were previously referring to was a different person.
