'Limitless' Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Fan Suggests Next Installment Should Be A Prequel Instead

After CBS confirmed the cancellation of "Limitless," fans were still hopeful that other outlets will pick "Limitless" Season 2 up. Months later, it seems like there is no hope for "Limitless" Season 2. While most fans are still scratching their heads as to why "Limitless" was dropped and no outlets seem to show any interest to pick "Limitless" Season 2 up, one fan feels that the show needed a little spin to make it even more interesting.

Almost all of the comments left in all GameNGuide "Limitless" Season 2 articles are about their frustrations over the cancellation of "Limitless." One fan, on the other hand, seemingly agreed to CBS for dropping the much-loved show. Instead of stating his anger towards CBS and Netflix, the fan left a comment noting what "Limitless" Season 2 should be to give outlets a reason to pick it up.

"A better idea would be going back before Brian in episode 1, and it shows what happened after Moira had his moment at the end of the film with Dr. Niro," the "Limitless" Season 2 fan wrote. "It shows how he employed Sands and how Sands killed Rebecca's father and all that side, make it darker, not a comedy, and I think the studio's would back it." The fan admitted that even though he liked "Limitless," he felt that the story became repetitive and the show needed more to it.

The suggestion of the fan made a lot of sense. With the "Limitless" show being based on the film of the same name, those who have watched the movie already had an idea of how the story will go. So if "Limitless" Season 2 will be based on the story before Brian (Jake McDorman) was exposed to NZT, maybe Netflix will see the originality and eventually pick it up. Do you agree that "Limitless" Season 2 should be a prequel instead? Let us know in the comments section below!
