"Fairy Tail" Chapter 501 featured Dimaria in the midst of a battle and points to Brandish for not killing the three fairies. Dimaria remarked that had Brandish have the intention to kill them, she could have easily done it.
After saying this, Dimaria stabbed Brandish. Turning to Lucy, she grabs her by the neck to choke her to death. Just then, Gray Fullbuster finds the trio and uses his magic to save Lucy. Natsu scolds him for coming late to save Lucy and happy. However, Gray has other intentions and challenges Natsu to battle.
"Fairy Tail" Chapter 501 also revealed the imminent defeat of Natsu. Brandish will make the Dragon Slayer suffer that will provoke Lucy to battle with him. The battle is interrupted with Dimaria who punishes Brandish and is set on making Lucy suffer, just in time for Gray to come in.
The previous chapter of "Fairy Tail" showed Brandish who saved the lives of Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, and Happy. Apparently, Dimaria was watching from afar and felt betrayed by her comrade's actions.
In "Fairy Tail" Chapter 501, the scene then shifts to Neinhart on a chase to kill Ezra Scarlet, accusing the Country Demolisher of betrayal. Natsu comes just in time to save Ezra, crushing Neinhart with just one blow.
Meanwhile, Wendy Marvell and Carla is on a feat to bring back Juvia Lockser who was in the verge of death. It was Juvia of the Great Sea who had relinquished herself to save the life of Gray Fullbuster.
Previously leaked photos of "Fairy Tail" Chapter 501 were revealed by Manga Helpers. It showed that coming out of the battle with Neinhart, Natsu turns to Brandish but fails when the latter enlarges Natsu's tumor to its normal size. Lucy cannot help to see Natsu suffer and questions the act of Brandish.
The Spriggan 12 member revealed that the threesome are set to hinder Zeref's plan, which Brandish cannot allow. In order to free the Dragon Slayer from his pain, Lucy challenges him to a fight, saying that Brandish must heal Natsu when she wins, Reddit previously speculated.
Brandish accepted the challenge and both struggled. The Stellar mage summons her Celestial spirit Scorpio, and both try to win against Brandish, but to no avail.
