The stars of "Game of Thrones" were at the Emmys 2016 last Sunday, September 18. They took a total of 12 awards which means that it has made history. It officially won more Emmy Awards than any other primetime TV series ever.

Sophie Turner interestingly dropped cryptic reveals about her character and the death of major characters in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. It can be recalled from near the end of Season of "Game of Thrones", Sansa Stark found herself finally reunited with her brother Jon Snow. And together, they defeated Ramsay Bolton and reclaimed Winterfell, the home of the Starks.

She said that fans would not really be able to know about what is going on with Sansa Stark. "We are trying to figure out where her loyalties lies and you are wondering if she is going to pull through and be a true Stark or not."

With hints of major character deaths in "Game of Thrones" Season 7, will there be one or two character dying? Who knows? The statement of Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa Stark, regarding "Game of Thrones" Season 7 indeed came in as a shocker.

Sophie Turner told Variety that she felt quite sad about things wrapping up and coming to an end. "People are hanging around Belfast a bit longer to be around each other and be in each other's presence", she added.

On the other hand, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, told fans to expect more characters that have not spent much time together.Digital Spy knows that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be about another epic battle. According to Emilia Clarke, this battle is one that tops the "Battle of the Bastards".

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be returning to HBO and Sky Atlantic in the summer of 2017. This is later than its usual April launch.
