The first Season of Marvel's series put a lot of new, interesting and disturbing plot leading a lot of fans to wonder what's in store for the upcoming "Jessica Jones" Season 2. Are you excited too?
According to an interview on Nerdist, showrunner Melissa Rosenberg revealed that consequences from the first installment will affect "Jessica Jones" Season 2 in more ways than one. Jessica Jones is a superhero that was abused, rape and tormented by the sinister villain Killgrave or most commonly known to comic book fans as The Purple Man.
Spoiler alert for those who have not watched the first installment before "Jessica Jones" Season 2. By the end of Season one, Jessica makes the conscious decision of killing Killgrave by the wish of Hope Shlottman, one of his latest victims .
According to Rosenberg, even though many may argue that Killgrave have to die because of his actions but Jessica doesn't think that way. As much as she hated Killgrave, she still wanted him to go to due process even though it's almost impossible. What could possibly happen in "Jessica Jones" Season 2?
"Jessica Jones" Season 2 will feature a Jessica struggling to process or live with what she did. After all, she is a superhero that avoids getting blood on her hands despite her strength. "Jessica Jones" Season 2 might give us some flashbacks from Killgrave's past orders with some fans considering that David Tennant's portrayal of the once thought off a bad villain.
With regards to "Jessica Jones" Season 2 official air date, the show is set to be release after Marvel's The Defenders. GameNGuide previously reported that fans may even see Jon Bernthal's as the Punisher for the upcoming small screen team up of superheroes.
