The famous original vampire family is back for another season with fresh new plot when the "Originals" Season 4 returns. Living already for a thousand years, the Mikaelsons siblings can survive just about anything.
The "Originals" Season 3 ended with the defeat of the Klaus and his siblings under the powerful Marcel. Freya cast a powerful spell to save them from extinction, Gamenguide reports. Also, it is anticipated that the brawls will be fiercer when the "Originals" Season 4 airs again.
The "Originals" Season 4 marks the return of Klaus and his beloved family. Klaus Mikaelson will return. However, it is presumed that Klaus will indeed return with greater power, Christian Post reports.

Fans will be thrilled to know that in the "Originals" Season 4, new ties will be developed. Alliances are a necessity for survival, especially in a city where vampires, wolves and witches are at war for power and authority.

In the same report, another evil vampire will bring chaos to New Orleans in the upcoming episodes of the "Originals" Season 4. It is said that this new evil will prowl on little children, and that would include Klaus's daughter, Hope.
With this new evil, the Mikaelsons might also be saying goodbye to one or two of their siblings, Kol and Freya. Recalling from the last season, Freya was a dedicated sister who tried everything to help her family. Losing her in the "Originals" Season 4 will truly be a great loss for the Mikaelsons.
Reports have been circling online that the "Originals" Season 4 will only have 13 episodes, instead of the original 22. The producers have not really disclosed on this cutback, however, fans will have to wait for more developments about the series.
Fans are now anticipating on the exact air date. However, the "Originals" Season 4 is expected to air early in 2017.
