"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 premiered with a blast, but not without the painfully story told relationships of the casts. This new season of Grey's delivers an early heartbreak for Alex (Justin Chambers), Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo).
After Alex is taken to jail, Meredith is apologetic for telling Bailey (Chandra Wilson) of his crime. But truth be told, she wanted Alex to turn to the police the first time he confided with her. And as Meredith returns home, she finds Riggs (Martin Henderson) appearing in her doorstep. Oh the predicament of having him so near and her sister Maggie in the other side of the house.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 spoilers reveal that, after Meredith's short encounter with Riggs, before she makes him go away, is a close call on her relationship with half sister Maggie. Maggie asks Meredith who was at the door and the latter lied, saying it was a stranger asking for directions.
Next Thursday on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 2; for Alex, it's the time for contemplation. Will he lose his medical license? Will he get convicted and stay longer in jail? Meredith, as a friend will try to subdue his feelings, but of course, everything else still lies on the investigation. Doctor vs doctor, Alex fears, he's going down and when asked of his plea, it felt like the ultimate question that decides life or death.
Adding to his frustration, is Bailey's rage over what Alex did and her advice to Meredith, that "There's no need to go down" with Alex.
