PlayStation 4 is reportedly being revamped, with the imminent release of the PlayStation 4 Neo. The battle of the consoles has been very heated with both Sony and Microsoft trying their best to outdo each other. Sony is currently the international market leader for home console hardware, with over 40 million PlayStation 4's sold.

PlayStation 4's upcoming console has reportedly gotten many gamers buzzing with excitement. Leaked photos have been spotted online that show a slimmed-down PS4 model. However, Sony has not yet revealed many details about their PlayStation 4 Neo, despite leaks about the game console.

While the PlayStation 4 Neo has been thought of as an entirely new device, it is actually an Upgraded Version of the PlayStation 4, reports Digital Trends. The Playstation 4 Neo will feature more powerful and improved components.

The PS4 Neo is reportedly a high-octane game console that can support 4K resolution. This may mean better graphics for the visual pleasure of many PlayStation gamers all over the world. The Playstation 4 Neo may also feature a faster clock speed than its predecessor. The PS4 Neo may be expected to run at 2.1GHZ, which is a big improvement from the 1.6Hz of the current PS4. However, some claimed that Neo's time to shine is over, according to Tech Radar.

The report also unveiled that the PlayStation 4 Neo may also have a more advanced AMD GPU that will certainly be a delight for many gamers. The report said that this new GPUD may have 36 compute units (CUs) that will run at 911MHz.

PlayStation 4 Neo is also rumored to be more expensive as it is aimed at high-end gamers who want 4K content and all Neo games to work on existing PlayStation 4 systems.
