Nintendo Nx design, including the price is expected to be a huge factor in the console's success, which is believed to be launched in early 2017.
Industry expert Michael Pachter is reported to have predicted the impact of Nintendo's upcoming console, saying that it will not be noticed if it will only be a handheld console, and that people will not buy it for more than US $199.
The Nintendo NX specs and other features are reportedly being kept as secret by Nintendo. In fact, there has been no confirmation yet if the console is going to be just a handheld device or a proper home console. Pachter believes that if the upcoming Nintendo console will turn out to be something in between, and will be offered for US$399, then no one would be interested to buy it.
Upcoming Nintendo NX is also reported to be a non home console, as it can be connected to TV sets and be taken outside as well to play games. With some rumors suggesting that games such as "Pokemon" and "Legend of Zelda" are going to be playable on Nintendo's new console, it is likely that the Japanese developer may be working on something to support the console and mobile games. Nintendo NX is expected to be released before March 2017, The Bit Bag reported.
Meanwhile, Nintendo NX is going to be made at a loss, as revealed recently by CEO Tatsumi Kimishima before a crowd of investors. According to Kimishima, the yen was strong when Wii U was released, and that he believes that a similar situation will happen again. He also took note of the fact that selling at a loss during launch will not help the business, and that they keep that in mind as they work on NX.
In addition, Nintendo NX is also rumored to be as powerful as the PS4, which suggests that it may not come at a much affordable price. With that, the upcoming console, is expected to cost from around £200 up to £300, PC Advisor reported.
