'Pokémon GO' Release Date, News & Update: The Content Update You've Been Waiting For

The "Pokémon  GO" is slated to get a new update from Niantic Labs. The game developer recently revealed information about the new update for "Pokémon  GO" coded 0.39.0 (Android) and 1.9.0 (iOS). The update will include minor bug fixes and the return of a previously deleted feature regarding capture locations.

The "Pokémon GO" gamers will see the comeback of the Capture Location feature. Moreover, gamers will also get the chance to tap into the added capabilities of the Pokémon GO Plus. The forthcoming patch details reveal more about the Pokémon GO Plus as well as the use of incense which is an in-game magnet that can lure Pokémon towards the trainer's location which is known to be suitable for single players.

However, those who rely on the potential of the Lure Module have a different experience. The Lure can only be used at Pokéstops. After installation, there is said to be a brief pause for the Pokémon to come their way, CNET reported.

The main difference from an incense and a lure is that every gamer at the Pokéstop may benefit from the Lure model. This will result in gamers expanding their Pokémon capturing as they into a PokéStop where a Lure Model has been previously used.

The Pokémon GO Plus previously could not inform trainers about nearby critters that may have been lured by incense use. On the other hand, the upcoming update can notify gamers when a deployed incense has attracted a Pokémon, which is said to make the game easier.

Rumor has it that several functions that have been available in Pokémon GO Plus will also be added into the Pokémon GO's companion app that is slated to make its way for the Apple watch. Moreover, Android users are rumored to get a similar companion coming to the Android Wear, The Guardian reported.

The Pokémon GO update is also expected to include minor bug fixes especially to patch up an issue that made the game freeze during the loading screen. Moreover, a bug that caused ultra-low speeds during gym battles have also been resolved.

In other news, the Pokémon GO Update is said to include capture locations to Pokemon Info. When a Pokémon is captured (or a previously captured Pokémon), the character's information screen will show its capture location and capture date at the bottom of the screen. This feature was previously part of the game and has been removed.

The Pokémon GO update will also allow capturing Pokémons previously encountered by using incense. This can be done using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory. The device will allow users to receive alerts about in-game events without having to bring out their phones. Pokémon GO is free to download on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
