The graphic designer of the "Stranger Things" Halloween-themed Happy Meals is Newt Cloninger-Clements. He thought that he would do "grown up" designs for Happy Meal this time. This is to come up with a fresh idea from the usual characterization of a ghost in the person of Casper.
Nerdist previously reported that Newt Cloninger-Clements has made a ton of mock-ups of what more adult, horror-centric Happy Meals would look like. Aside from Stranger Things, Newt Cloninger-Clements' Happy Meal images range from other recent hits like "Ash Versus The Evil Dead," "My Roanoke Nightmare," and "American Horror Story."
One can really see from Newt Cloninger-Clements' Pinterest page that he is indeed a fan of horror films. To which, he confirmed in a statement.
Newt Cloninger-Clements expounded, "I have been a huge fan of horror films ever since childhood, so it's no surprise that Halloween is my favourite holiday. My work is a tribute to all of the creative individuals that have influenced me over the years, and brought so much enjoyment to my life."
