The actress who portrayed the key character Jessica Pearson explained her difficult exit from "Suits" season 6 midseason finale. "Leaving the show was indeed a difficult decision to make," Gina Torres said to CinemaBlend. "However at this time, it is necessary to get back to my life [in Los Angeles] and all the very important things that being on location in Toronto made very difficult to manage." Now there are suggestions that Gabriel Macht's character Harvey Specter will soon exit the show.
The departure of Gina Torres created uncertainty towards the fate of other key characters. While "Suits" season 6 will continue to air until the seventh season, the fate of other key characters is still uncertain. However, executive producer expressed his optimism that the rest of the key characters will continue to appear next season. In fact, Aaron Korsh shared with TV Line that there will be more conflict between Harvey and Louis.

Aaron Korsh recently shared with Deadline that Jessica Pearson's exit from the show brings the spotlight over to Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman). The showrunner hinted that a conflict will brew between Harvey and Louis in "Suits" season 6. To recall, Jessica let Pearson Specter Litt in the hands of fellow managing partners, Harvey and Louis.
