Every "wild cat" or "High School Musical" fan had his heart broken when Zac Efron, or their well-loved Troy Bolton, did not make it to the 10-year reunion telecast of the 2006 Disney Channel musical earlier this year. But a selfie that is swirling around social media will hype up and will make every fan freak out!
ET Online reported that the 28-year old Zac Efron did recently reunite with co-star in "High School Musical" Lucas Grabeel, who portrays the character of Ryan Evans, . Corbin Blue portrays the character of Chad Danforth in "High School Musical."
Zac Efron posted a photo on Instagram last September 28, Wednesday with a caption, "@mrgrabeel (Lucas Grabeel's Instagram handle) and I saw @corbinblue (Corbin Blue's Instagram handle) DANCE on AIR ala Fred Astaire last night. He tapped "Firecracker" and lit the stage on [fire] with his moves!"
As reported by E! News, Lucas Grabeel posted another photo of them and said, "Just a couple of wildcats on a #Broadway stage. @corbinblue killed it last night in #HolidayInnMusical! @ZacEfron So much love for these guys."
This public display of bromance just made everyone's Wednesday. The boys' mini reunion just made everyone even more excited for the fourth installment of "High School Musical." Disney Channel has officially announced early this year that "High School Musical 4" is returning to East High.
"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens, who play as Gabriella Montez," has high hopes for the new installment. She said, "I love musicals. Being able to do musicals is such a dream of nine and the fact that they are keeping it alive and bringing it to a new generation is really wonderful."
There is no exact date released yet for "High School Musical 4" but it is expected to premier in 2018. It is interesting to know what awaits the well-loved characters as it is rumoured that they will meet East High's rivals in "High School Musical 4" - the West High Knights!
