The Buddy Feature was added to "Pokemon Go" last month to help players of the game earn candies for a specific pokemon. The said feature adds more chances to evolve pokemons; thus, the need for Stardust has increase even more as Stardust can power up any pokemon.

How To Acquire Stardust In 'Pokemon Go'?

For all newbies in "Pokemon Go", Stardust is an important item that each player must have in the game. This items can power up any pokemon in the player's pokedex and is obtained by catching pokemons in the wild and hatching eggs.

Reports say players of "Pokemon Go" can get 100 Stardust when players catch pokemon in the wild while hatching 10km eggs can generate 2,000 worth of Stardust in the game. Conquering and maintaining a PokeGym in "Pokemon Go" is another way to get Stardust, which players can also get PokeCoins in the process.

Stardust may not be purchased in "Pokemon Go." However, there are a number of indirect ways players can obtain Stardust in the game by simply purchasing Incense, Lure and Incubators items. Incense can be bought for 80 PokeCoins and it can be used to catch pokemons by walking for 30 minutes and covering a distance of 2.5km, which then players can get 1,200 Stardust.

Other than that, buying a Lure can cost "Pokemon Go" players 100 PokeCoins, which will then be placed in a near PokeStop. A Lure can spawn 5 or 6 pokemons in one Lure that players can catch and each pokemon caught in the wild has a 100 Stardust bonus.

Meanwhile, Heavy reports that "Pokemon Go" players might want to ease up in using Stardust in the game, especially the newbies. The news outlet suggest getting into a more higher level of 30 can have an effect on powering a pokemon in "Pokemon Go" or players who caught a pokemon that has a high IV and a great moveset can feel free to use Stardust.
