Callie left Arizona and left to New York City at the end of "Greys Anatomy" Season 12. Cara finally returned to her husband during his funeral.
Callie played by Sara Ramirez has actually left the show and there was no clue if her character has the possibility to come back, but everything is still cloudy. According to Variety, Callie's absence in the series was felt all over, but her exit was depicted into leaving for New York which is why many are still presuming that would return in Greys Anatomy" Season 13.
Arizona is now having a new life without Callie and she's beginning a new chapter in her life. Rumors even surfaced that she would find a new love life on the upcoming "Greys Anatomy" Season 13.

Meanwhile, Cara is back after knowing her father is dead and she's back being pregnant. International Business Times noted that her comeback brought addition to the emotions as she and her baby is in danger. Some of the siblings have mixed emotions having her back. Some are happy while others are not. But, her mother was very happy of having Cara back and for her it's a miracle. In the hospital, Cara got cardiac arrest which made them decide that Cara would undergo caesarean to save her life and her baby.
