The Power Rangers TV series is extending the excitement on videogame consoles with the latest "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle" game. Just recently, Bandai Namco released the trailer for the side scrolling, beat-em-up game. Players will choose the character they want amongst the five Power Ranger and they'll work from there to power up their characters.
According to the Polygon, the storyline of the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle" will be based on the first two episodes of the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" TV show. Despite the lack of other details, Bandai also confirmed the attendance of the game at the upcoming New York Comic Con this weekend.
The "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle" game will feature all different battle styles by the Power Ranger characters. The new game will feature extensive and modern development on its rendering. The high-definition animated graphics, the different characters and their online capabilities have made it even more interesting for the retro ranger heroes. The game also has a 2D scrolling design that lets players experience the years of arcade gaming, again.
Prior to the announcement of the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle" is the introduction of the film Power Rangers. The game will launch on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platform on January 2017. Meanwhile, the live-action Power Rangers movie, which also drew thousands of fans at the recent Comic Con will premiere on the 24th of March 2017.
The movie version is directed by Dean Israelite. Also, the film will introduce three new faces in the Power Rangers film mainly Bryan Cranston as mentor Zordon, Elizabeth Banks as the villainess Rita Repulsa and Bill Hader as support-robot Alpha Five.
