Get ready for a Zerg rush's worth of information about StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm from Blizzard Entertainment.
In addition to putting out a trailer for the expansion to the top selling StarCraft 2 on February 26th at 3 p.m. EST on TwitchTV,(Update: It's out) the California-based company detailed a series of launch events set to take place around the world when the actual game is released. The nine events will take place in the U.S., France, Australia, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Russia, Brazil, and Mexico. In addition, midnight launches will take place at select retailers.. At the events prizes will be given away, top teams will compete against one another and someone, somewhere, will remark that, "You know, StarCraft is even bigger in South Korea," in a knowing voice. Don't be that guy. Seriously.
StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm releases on March 12 for the PC.
