Movie fanatics know it was a joke that when Russo brothers said there would be 68 characters to appear in "Avengers: Infinity War." This Marvel iteration is already on production and there are talks who will appear and who will be shelved among earth's superheroes.
Let us list confirmed characters for this much anticipated "Avengers: Infinity War." After all, simple logic dictates that 68-character cast will result to a slideshow instead of a movie. There might be later addendum but fans want to zero in to who were fenced to the title. Without much ado, here are the forces of earth who will defend against cosmos invasion.
Earth's greatest wizard Doctor Strange is confirmed to debut as part of ragtag team The Avengers. Actor Benedict Cumberbatch was cited in several interviews that he is working with other Avengers actors. Cumberbatch spoiled a plot when he bursts that his character will get to know Scarlet Witch. Elizabeth Olsen's character adds female touch to "Avengers: Infinity War."
Then came the Avengers-returnee Hulk as another confirmed character. According to Movie Pilot actor Mark Ruffalo hinted that his role in "Thor: Ragnarok" is leading towards reappearance in "Avengers: Infinity War." Hulk will rejoin with Chris Hemsworth's Thor. Remember that the Asgardian prince is the protector and subsequently defend one of the Infinity Gems. Speaking of gems - Paul Bettany character Vision has an Infinity Gem in his forehead so count him in as well.
Moving forward, Iron Man provides continuity in "Avengers: Infinity War" when he had a vision in Age of Ultron about Thanos' imminent invasion. Further, Iron Man subplot in this movie will result to emotional realignment with best friends Captain America and Winter Soldier. Cinema Blend said that Chris Evan, Sebastian Stan and Marvel's biggest moneymaker Robert Downey Jr. are in for a reunion. Of course, it is no brainer that Iron Man and Captain America are pillars of the Avengers.
So to wrap things up, 7 characters were confirmed for "Avengers: Infinity War." There are several other who are very likely to be included but Marvel have no further details to provide yet.
