Since that name doesn't come up in "A Song of Ice and Fire", people immediately speculated that it is code for "Major Character We Don't Want You To Guess Just Yet". Some believe that Quinn will appear in most episodes as a possible suitor for Sansa Stark who just happens to have a claim to the Iron Throne.
There are speculations that Koner is actually Young Griff, who is secretly Aegon Targaryen. It is possible that Aegon will find his way to Westeros to form an alliance with Jon Snow by asking to marry Sansa Stark. Victarion could finally show up to help Euron Greyjoy overpower Daenerys Targaryen and bring the dreaded dragonhorn in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
