Xiaomi Mi Max Prime Release Date, News & Update: Octa-Core Processor, Snapdragon 652, 128GB - All These & More For ONLY $299!

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is the new mobile phone that has top of the line specs and sells only for $299 or Rs. 19,999. It is packed with a powerful processor Snapdragon 652, a slightly higher version than the existing Mi Max handset that has already a 650. The octa-core processor has two high performing Cortex-A72 cores for a more powerful boost.

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime's RAM count is 4GB with an internal storage of 128GB memory. It's hardware specifications are at par with other more expensive brands. The screen is 6.44 inch full HD with (1080x1920) 342ppi display. The rear camera has 16 mega pixel and comes in phase detection autofocus (PDAF), a LED flash and f/2.0 aperture for that picture-perfect effect. Meanwhile, the front camera has 5 mega pixel with 85 degree wide angle view.

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based MIUI with a microsSD card slot up to 128 GB for more memory capacity. It even has that hybrid dual-SIM configuration, just in case you need additional contact number for your friends and family. Its 4,850mAh battery can play up to 14 hours of video playback.

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS with Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Mimo and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. Size and weight matters; so, it's good to note that it weighs 203 grams and measures 173.1x88.3x7.5mm.

On top of these top of the notch specifications, Xiaomi Mi Max Prime can also be used as a universal remote control using its infrared emitter. It can also function as ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor.

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime will go on sale during the Diwali Festival in India on Oct 17. Stay tuned to GameNGuide for the latest news and update on Xiaomi Mi Max Prime!
