'Justice League Dark' Release & Latest News: Matt Ryan Vital For Movie, Happy To Relive Role; Is Batman Necessary?

"Justice League Dark" has since given out very little information about itself, but has now seemingly become almost a household name. Many may not know the true origins that the league of magicians was given, but whatever DC and Warner Bros. have shown could propel the popularity higher this time around.

As some may already know, "Justice League Dark" will show some of the more iconic black magic practitioners within the DCEU. The said faction is comprised of Zatanna, Deadman, Etrigan, Swamp Thing and their alleged leader, John Constantine, whose voice actor is more than enthusiastic to deliver the said role in any form.

According to Comics Alliance, actor Matt Ryan has been offered the role of the titular exorcist John Constantine in "Justice League Dark" after the canceled series in which Ryan admitted interest in. Director Jay Oliva, responsible for the many animated hits of the DC Universe, asked during the New York Comic-Con if Ryan can be the one to voice the character respectively.

Being a geek on his own right, Ryan said that he pays attention to what has been going on with the "Hellblazer" novel. This could then lead to the potential spoils that the actor might show in "Justice League Dark," given that he has taken the familiarity of the character to a different level. Despite the cancellation of "Constantine," "Justice League Dark" could open another door for the actor in terms of reliving the role he is currently best known for. Setting such aside, the movie has quite the interesting plot that those who may not follow the franchise may still be able to grasp, especially with the participation of the original Justice League members.

For those unaware, "Justice League Dark" will have Batman present on more than one occasion, attempting to resolve the supernatural happenings around the globe. Though the Dark Knight's presence is not conventionally found in the said universe, it raises questions to many as to what it can further give.

"Justice League Dark" is set to release sometime within 2017. Stay locked for more news and updates at Gamenguide.
