The speculations were made worse when reports of Kate Jenkinson not being on set circulated. Her absence allegedly put the production on hold according to latest reports.
However, Kate Jenkinson revealed the real status of "Wentworth" season 5 in an interview with Curve Mag. Jenkinson - who plays the role Bea Smith's lover Allie Novak - is actually on vacation in Cancun with her real life love interest, celebrity fitness trainer Torri Shack. While she enjoys her private time with Shack, "Wentworth" season 5 continues on. Keeping up with the schedule is vital since the series is expected to release in 2017. The actress admitted as much in an interview with After Ellen, assuring fans that the show isn't canceled although she isn't allowed to disclose further information.

Allie To Avenge Bea's Death?
Kate Jenkinson also pointed out to fans that killing off Bea Smith is a bold move made by the producers. This only means that no one is safe regardless if you're the Top Dog or the central character of the show. Without Bea, many fans wonder how could Allie cope with her death. GameNGuide previously reported that Allie may avenge Bea's death. Speculations suggest that Allie may team up with Bea's friends to bring down Joan "The Freak" Ferguson. This means that Jenkins will definitely be back in season 5.
