'Fantastsic Beasts And Where To Find Them' Release Date News & Update: Five More Films Confirmed By J.K. Rowling; Dumbledore To Appear?

"Harry Potter" spin-off, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is confirmed to have five more films in the coming years. It was confirmed by the "Harry Potter" writer, J.K. Rowiling that was posted on the official Twitter account of the film. Rowling, debuting as a screenwriter telling fans on that she's done plotting properly and that she's "pretty sure" about the spin-off movie to extend into five more films.

Warner Bros. has also confirmed a sequel to the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". Reports from BBC said that Warner Bros and J.K. Rowling made the announcement at a promotional event in London's Leicester Square.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is based on the fictional author that was mention in the previous "Harry Potter" stories named Newt Scamander, which was 70 years before Harry Potter reads one of his books in the Hogwarts School. Scamander is played by Eddie Redmayne, who visits the secret community of witches and wizards in New York.

J.K. Rowling also mentioned about Dumbledore and Grindelwald, in another report by BBC. Dumbledore and Grindelwald were close friends but their friendship went sour years before the first Harry Potter book took place.

Rowling also confirmed Dumbledore's sexuality as gay and that he once had romantic feelings for the dark wizard, Grindelwald. Even though Rowling has confirmed Dumbledore's appearance on in the spin-off however it is not yet known who will play Dumbledore in the future "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" films since Richard Harris died in 2002.

The "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is directed by David Yates who also directed the final four "Harry Potter" films and will also return to direct a sequel. Yates also spoke at the event and told the fans in the audience that Dumbledore is featured in a wonderful scene by Colin Farrell and Eddie Redmayne. He also added that Grindelwald will be featured in the background and is going to be more prominent in the future.

The "Harry Potter" spin-off will star Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, Zoe Kratvits and Collin Farrel. J.K. Rowling also teased fans that "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will connect with the "Harry Potter" films in surprising ways. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" release date is set for November 17.
