After four years of not having a Bruno Mars new album, it looks like a compilation is finally coming before the end of the year. Titled, "24K Magic, the Bruno Mars new album marks the culmination of the Hawaii-born singer's album hiatus which saw him perform on the Super Bowl twice and release the monster hit "Uptown Funk" with British producer Mark Ronson.
While Billboard hints that the Bruno Mars new album might contain collaborations with Missy Elliott, Mark Ronson and Skrillex, the biggest chatter about the LP involves Mars' co-performer in this year's Superbowl halftime, Beyonce. The two memorably danced together in a dance breakdown, according to Vanity Fair, even outshining supposed headliners, British alternative pop band Coldplay.
It is rumored that the two have been meeting each other for a duet on the Bruno Mars new album. Both are big fans of each other's body of musical work. After all, who would not want a Bruno Mars-Beyonce duet after that dance-off in February's Superbowl?
It is also possible that the Bruno Mars new album will not be the only upcoming set with a collaboration of the two superstars. Beyonce, after all, is known for collaborating with other artists multiple times so we could see a "Telephone"-"Video Phone" situation soon.
