'Underworld: Blood Wars' Release Date, SPOILERS, News & Update: How Will Kate Beckinsale's Selene Evolve Into A Super Vampire?
Fans are already looking forward to the fifth installment of the "Underworld" movie series, and it could feature Selene discovering new powers. But how exactly will Kate Beckinsale's former death dealer become a super vampire? Will a new ally help her realize her true potential? And will "Underworld: Blood Wars" be the last film in the vampire franchise?
Kate Beckinsale's Selene Becomes Super Vampire In 'Underworld: Blood Wars'
Selene is already a powerful vampire, having been made by the Vampire Elder Viktor in the first "Underworld" film. However, Kate Beckinsale's character was made even more powerful after drinking the blood of Alexander Corvinus in "Underworld: Evolution".
At this point in "Underworld: Evolution", she has the same strength and regeneration powers as Michael Corbin. In addition to that, her blood can heal other vampires like Theo James' David, who she saved in "Underworld: Awakening".

Unfortunately, it looks like Selene's blood will be used against her in "Underworld: Blood Wars". What will happen when her enemies are just as strong as she is?
Kate Beckinsale's death dealer will need all the help she could get to take on Lycan leader Marius, who will be played by "Game of Thrones" actor Tobias Menzies. Luckily, Michael Corvin will be back after being absent in the previous film. Selene's lover will now be played by Trent Garrett, who will replace Scott Speedman.
Will Selene's Daughter Eve Return In 'Underworld: Blood Wars'?
In "Underworld: Awakening", it was revealed that Selene and Michael Corvin had a daughter named Eve. Although the character played a major role in the movie, there is no trace of Eve in "Underworld: Blood Wars". Will the young hybrid have a cameo in Kate Beckinsale's latest film? Find out when "Blood Wars" premieres on January 6, 2017.
