"Red Dead Redemption 2" developer Rockstar Games teased gamers with nostalgic Western-themed poster during the weekend then made drooling fans go loco with announcement that this title will hit shelves in the fall of next year.

Rockstar Games taunts with clearly well-thought line which can be dissected as "tale of life in gun-crazed Western era." The cool poster teems with bloody color contrasting with rising yellow sun and seven silhouettes of gunslingers in the foreground. Cool, eh - then "Red Dead Redemption 2" nailed it with an announcement about imminent release. The only catch is absence of tentative date apart from fall of 2017 teaser.

According to Wired, there is a bonus trying to catch up the bandwagon though. "Red Dead Redemption 2" expectants will witness a new trailer at 11 a.m. E.T. tomorrow Thursday, Oct 20.

Ok, we will hitch with the bandwagon as well and will relive the experience with "Red Dead Redemption 2" predecessor. IGN listed interesting characters like Man with No Name persona from the original and of course, Shane and Kurt. However, what tickles imagination are the seven silhouettes in the poster. Are they the "Magnificent Seven" who will defend a Mexican village or "Seven Samurais" who suddenly decided that guns are more efficient than katana?

Then came a thought that multi-character might actually provide an easier endgame for "Red Dead Redemption 2." The original plot lived to the core of "redemption" indeed when dark ending saw John Marston took a last stand in unwinnable final gunfight. If Rockstar Games is planning to unleash seven guns instead of Marston's dual revolver, then life would be a lot easier.

To wrap up, another thing that gamers fancy about "Red Dead Redemption 2" is the possibility of unexpected twist. The original iteration so cleverly pictures the hardships of gunslingers in the Old West but pivots into comical zombie DLC later. Make no mistake about it, the expansion pack "Undead Nightmare" was one of the most exciting changes in the title.
