Fans of "Dead Rising 4" would be happy to know that Capcom has unveiled the details on the highly anticipated "Frank Rising" DLC, which is just one feature of the three-part DLC plan in the game's Season Pass. The "Frank Rising" DLC also features timer-based gameplay, something that fans would be delighted to get their hands on.

According to Polygon, the pressure is on when "Dead Rising 4" lets gamers in on the timer-based gameplay for the "Frank Rising" DLC. The new "Frank Rising" DLC will find Frank West infected by the zombie virus and in need of a cure. In his journey to find an antidote, he realizes that zombies have evolved to become smarter and that the city is at risk for mass scale destruction. He must juggle his mission to find a cure and save the city at the same time.

Capcom initially removed the timer-based gameplay in "Dead Rising 4" because some fans were unhappy with it. The studio decided to remove it to give fans and players more time to explore the open world of the game. However, some felt that the timer-based gameplay is actually very exciting, which is why Capcom decided to bring it back for the "Frank Rising" DLC.

According to IGN, Capcom also unveiled the Season Pass details which will be exclusively available for those who pre-order "Dead Rising 4: Deluxe Edition" for $80. For fans who aren't interested in the Deluxe Edition, know that the Season Pass will be available for purchase separately during the game's launch on December 6. It will have a price tag of $25.

The Season Pass for "Dead Rising 4" will include new story content, a mini golf multiplayer mode, and exclusive festive holiday pack. As per Gamespot, the 18-hold mini golf course is called "Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf," which features online multiplayer support for up to four players. Funny enough, gamers will have to use guns to tee off the balls. "Dead Rising 4" arrives on PC and Xbox One on December 6.
