After a very stressful "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, fans will now be relieved after knowing that Michael has survived from the gunshot. However, Jane and Sam are rumored to be having a date.
During the press screening of "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, showrunner Urman narrated chapter 10 of Season 1. He says that Michael's traumatic event in his life will be giving him a new life after survival. Michael was declared safe and according to the narration, he never stopped loving Jane until his very last breath. He'll also have a change of his life in his work which will be the main focus of the story.
Seattle Pi revealed that Jane had a date with her crush Sam. As she was waiting for the result of Michael in the hospital, Sam invited her for a date. This was Jane's struggle during the first two seasons being trapped in a love triangle. By the time Michael discovered about this, it will surely give a signature balance for the comedy in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3.

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 will focus and center on the traumatic event as fans will be able to watch and see the story regarding Michael's recovery wherein there were still medical issues that they will continue to deal with. Also, it is presumed that Jane will be moving out of the house, according to the Hollywood Reporter wrote.
