Moreover, the device features a sporty look and is said to be lightweight with a flexible rubber band used in Apple Watch Sport bands. The device will also include the exclusive Nike watch faces and fitness apps like the Nike+ Run Club app. A GPS tracker will also be included, NDTV reported. The water-resistant device will also support Siri.

Meanwhile, the The Apple Watch Nike+ edition also unlocked new workouts and other capabilities. The device was tested in open water swims and outdoor cycling as well. The built-in GPS is said to be analogous to 3G coming to the iPhone after the first generation.

The Apple Watch Nike+ edition will be able to track runners' miles even without having to carry the iPhone along. It should be noted that despite losing cellular connection with the iPhone battery, the Apple Watch could allegedly still continue leading the way until arrival.

The Apple Watch Nike+ edition GPS is also said to be useful for the device with the Nike+ Run Club app since the  Apple Watch currently does not make use of GPS on map runs. Watch Hands-on: Apple Watch Nike+
