"Quantico" Season 2 Episode 3, "Stescalade," saw Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) successfully infiltrating the Citizens' Liberation Front, even as Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin) nearly got her killed. Still, her infiltration attempt goes slightly more successfully than expected, though it still left a window of doubt on where Miranda Shaw's (Aunjanue Ellis) loyalty really lay.
Recap of 'Quantico' Season 2 Episode 3: 'Stescalade'
In the future timeline, Alex Parrish was trying to gather intel on the terrorists as per Miranda's instructions in "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 3, "Stescalade." She donned one of the terrorists' uniforms, each with a suicide pill, and attempted to blend in with the terrorists. Meanwhile, Miranda got a text message from her inside contact, saying "We will find her."
Things took a turn for the worse in "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 3 when Ryan Booth, who was getting tired of captivity, decided to unmask a terrorist during a staged fistfight with Harry Doyle (Russel Tovey). Unfortunately, he'd unmasked Alex during the melee, which led to her subsequent captivity and capture by the terrorists.
Alex Parrish then fought to the death with her terrorist captor, whom she also unmasked and recognized as one of her CIA mentors, in "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 3. Later on, a body is dropped from the ceiling where the hostages are held. A note saying "2 Down" is attached to the body.
Meanwhile, in the past timeline on "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 3, Alex and Ryan were making little headway on the alleged rogue faction inside The Farm. After being egged on by Shelby Wyatt (Johanna Brady) and Nimah Amin (Yasmine Al Massri), the two lovebirds eventually decided to bug photojournalist Leon Velez, before discovering that they've been beaten to the punch--he was already bugged.
Spoilers for 'Quantico' Season 2 Episode 4: 'Kubark'
Meanwhile, spoilers are out for "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 4. Titled "Kubark," the official synopsis for the episode revealed that a tradeoff between the CIA and the terrorists may take place. The promotional photos largely suggested that this trade could involve Nimah Amin. Could they be switching out Alex Parrish for her?
