According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Nina Dobrev's ex, Ian Somerhalder, can't wait to become a father. Nikki Reed, on the other hand, is still not ready to give her career up to focus on becoming a mom.

When E! News caught up with the actor and he was faced with baby question, Ian Somerhalder shared his excitement about parenthood. "Absolutely! I can't wait, but with this schedule, living on a television show, it's a bit difficult," he said.

CDL noted that while "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 actor shows willingness in having a baby, the "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed has not opened up about pregnancy or starting a family. The site noted that Ian Somerhalder's career is not doing that well now that "The Vampire Diaries" is coming to an end.

Not that Ian Somerhalder is going to use the baby to be talked about as the actor is genuinely excited to become a dad one day, but the baby news will definitely start media interest and will help both of their careers by creating a buzz. If Nikki Reed wants to keep her name in the headlines, the site suggests that to have a baby will actually save their careers.
