Good news, gamers: several reports are speculating that Sony will be offering a PlayStation 4 Slim bundle with the hit game, "Uncharted 4: Thief's End" on Black Friday for $50 off. Said discount will bring the retail price down to $249.99, which is certainly the lowest price PS4 Slim buyers have seen since 2015, when the slim console price dropped to $299.99.
While Sony has yet to market any particular bundles and offers this coming Black Friday, several reports have cited stores such as eBay are geared to offer this special PlayStation 4 and "Uncharted 4: Thief's End" bundle. Black Friday news site BestBlackFriday has predicted that most PlayStation 4 bundles might start at $249.99, especially since the PS4 Slim is basically just a slimmer version of the PS4 console. Historically, the $50 discount has so far been proven, since during Black Friday last year, the original PS4 was sold at $299.99, also a $50 discount at the time.
Why gamers should be excited
PlayStation players should definitely be excited about this upcoming bundle for Black Friday, not to mention the inclusion of the "Uncharted 4: Thief's End." The new PS4 Slim has been vetted by the gaming community for its slim yet powerful console. Despite its cosmetic changes, under the hood it's still very much similar to the PlayStation 4, albeit much cheaper and portable in contrast. It's also able to decrease power consumption by 28 percent, although admittedly missed a trick with its measly 500GB internal memory, according to DigitalSpy.
"Uncharted 4: Thief's End," on the other hand, consistently tops list of best PlayStation 4 games worldwide. In fact, Naughty Dog's PS4 game exclusive has gained worldwide acclaim for its seamless and impeccable graphics and incredibly compelling and transportive storytelling. Telegraph UK even went so far as to call Uncharted 4 the "best video game of its generation."
