Avid gamers hoping to learn more about the Nintendo NX device will soon discover its various features. Nintendo is set to release a special preview trailer to officially unveil the company's new gaming device.
Speculations have been rife about the Nintendo NX device, its specifications, price point and release date. Many fans have been eagerly awaiting for the latest news from Nintendo, however, the company has been tight-lipped about the said product.
Some of the rumors even pointed to a delayed reveal date while others hinted at a potential product reveal during Nintendo's upcoming Q2 report presentation. However, the gaming company shocked many fans when it released a surprising announcement on social media.
In a recent Twitter message, Nintendo announced that it will unveil a Nintendo NX preview trailer on Oct. 20, Thursday, at 7:00 a.m. PT (10:00 a.m. ET). The gaming company even included a cute image of the iconic game character Mario peeking behind a curtain.

Meanwhile, there has been a lot of speculation about the Nintendo NX's features and specifications. Previous reports described the said console as a hybrid given its capability for handheld gaming, as well as the traditional home console game set-up.
The Nintendo NX's price point is also rumored at be around $200 to $300, according to Forbes. Some reports even hinted at special bundles that will include a few gaming titles.
Nintendo has yet to announce the list of gaming titles that gamers can play using the Nintendo NX. However, the company is said to be working on a new game for the said console. A new IP specific to the upcoming console is said to be under development by one of Nintendo's Japan-based teams, according to video game insider Emily Rogers, as cited by Express.
Details of the said new IP were not unveiled, however, it was described as a crazy yet fun game. Rogers stated, "Nintendo doesn't have another game like this."
