'Xbox One Backwards Compatibility' Update: Discover What’s Inside ‘The Orange Box’ Plus, Two New Titles for the Microsoft Feature

Just as we wrapped up October's recent Xbox One backwards compatibility list, Microsoft barges in with new sets of titles. In a recent twitter post by Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson, he confirmed the arrival of "Half Life 2: Episode 2," "Team Fortress 2" and "Portal" as part of "The Orange Box." Also included are "Joe Danger 2: The Movie" and "Galaga Legions."

Players who previously owned the titles in the Xbox 360 console will automatically find the titles in the Xbox One console. However, for first time players, these titles on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature will be priced accordingly. "The Orange Box" which has a total of 20GB in space is currently sold at $20, the "Galaga Legions" with 98.32MB is sold for $10 and "Joe Danger 2: The Movie" with 68.64MB is currently sold for $15.

Unfortunately, the previously featured "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is not included in the list. The mistake Microsoft committed remain part of the fans hope that, the title will eventually arrive on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.

Also recently, Xbox head Phil Spencer addressed queries about Original Xbox games coming to the backwards compatible feature. He may have hinted on its possibility, but reveals the company is not currently working on such. A previous report by GameNGuide however featured the return of "Voodoo Vince," an original Xbox game coming to the Xbox One backwards compatibility in 2017.

Meanwhile, you can also check on the previous list of games that arrived on the backwards compatibility feature here. Previous titles include "Dragon's Lair," "Puzzle Quest," "Silent Hill: Downpour" and "Jurassic Park: The Game." The Xbox One backwards compatibility has now over 250 titles in its library. The collection continues to grow as Xbox 360 games are slowly integrated to the current gen console.
