'Supernatural' Season 12 Spoilers: Winchesters' Happy Reunion Once Again Threatened by New Villain; Evil Force to Use Mary Against Sons?

The Winchester brothers are finally back together in "Supernatural" Season 12 after their unfortunate encounter with the British Men of Letters representative. This time around, they will have their mom Mary with them.

According to a TV Guide synopsis for episode 3 of "Supernatural" Season 12, the Winchesters will be investigating what mystery lies behind a crying baby and the death it was able to incite in an abandoned house. This will be the first time in the history of the series that the mother and her two sons will be working together since Mary's (Samantha Smith) return from the afterlife. Thus, viewers will get to witness a whole new side and dynamic to the Winchester family.

Dean(Jensen Ackles) has shown protectiveness towards his mother since their reunion after thirty years. It remains to be seen if this will continue on this week's "Supernatural" episode. Mary could also provide valuable help by using her mother's instinct in unraveling the enemy who uses a crying baby in luring his victims.

The official CW preview of "Supernatural" episode 3 titled "The Foundry" found in Cartermatt further reveals that a group of witless kids will be summoned by the episode's villain to the abandoned house and will haunt them one by one.

In one scene of the "Supernatural" promo video, Mary herself seems to have been taken by the evil force and appears to be used against her sons. The Winchesters will have an encounter with the villain before they are finally able to unravel the mystery and before it causes more damage to their family.

Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) will stop at at nothing to avenge himself against Lucifer (Rick Springfield) now that the latter has taken on a new body. Castiel (Misha Collins) also has the same sentiments so it will not come as a surprise if they form an alliance in "Supernatural" Season 5. But, Lucifer has his own plans for Crowley's mother Rowena (Ruth Connell). Watch how these develop and more on the next episodes of "Supernatural" airing on Thursdays at The CW.
