'Narcos' Season 3 Adds More Cast Members But No Confirmation Of Boyd Holbrook's Return?
The Netflix series will move on after Pablo Escobar's death by adding new cast members in Kerry Bishe, Matt Whelan and Michael Stahl-David (via The Independent). It has also been confirmed that former "Game of Thrones" star Pedro Pascal is coming back as Javier Pena in "Narcos" Season 3.
But is it possible that Pena's partner Steve Murphy will be written out of "Narcos" Season 3? Why hasn't Boyd Holbrook been confirmed to return on the show?
Fans have been worried that Steve Murphy might not come back in "Narcos" Season 3. After all, the real-life Murphy went back to the US after the death of Pablo Escobar.
However, Boyd Holbrook has sort of confirmed that his character will possibly stay on the Netflix series. "It's called 'Narcos', it's not called 'Pablo Escobar'," Holbrook told The Hollywood Reporter back in September.
Will Boyd Holbrook Leave 'Narcos' Season 3 To Work On More Movies Including Possible 'Logan' Spinoff?
He may be the voice of "Narcos", but the future looks busy for Boyd Holbrook. The "Gone Girl" star is set to appear as Donald Pierce in the highly anticipated Hugh Jackman flick "Logan" and it is possible that his character could be brought back for more "X-Men" movies.
There are speculations that a "Logan" spinoff will focus on Dafne Keen's Laura and could bring back Pierce as the villain. Nevertheless, there is still hope that Holbrook will return in "Narcos" Season 3, which is expected to air on Netflix next fall.
