Ciara is pregnant for the second time, with her husband, Russell Wilson, announcing the good news. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback stated on social media on Oct. 25, 2016 that Ciara was carrying his child.
On Instagram, Russell Wilson rejoiced over Ciara's pregnancy via a couple of spiritual messages. He posted a black-and-white photo of himself caressing his wife's baby bump.
Russell Wilson captioned that it was the greatest blessing of all and he was forever grateful for Ciara's pregnancy. After a few hours, the devout Christian tweeted a bible verse about a child having been chosen by God in the womb. Ciara also shared that she was pregnant with Russell Wilson's child on Instagram on the same day, which was also her 31st birthday.
Ciara shared the same photo that Russell Wilson posted and wrote that her birthday was special this year because she received an abundance of love from family and friends. She continued that she is excited to finally share one of the greatest gifts that God could give.
Us Magazine wrote that Ciara and Russell Wilson were married on July 6, 2016 in Cheshire, England. Rumors of Ciara being pregnant with Russell Wilson began to circulate early in October after the singer was seen wearing loose-fitting clothes.
It will be Russell Wilson's first child, and Ciara's second. She has a son with ex-fiance Future Zahir, named Future Jr., 2, who is now two years old.
Ciara seemed to have moved on from the rapper after she recently dropped a defamation lawsuit against him for $15 million. A source reportedly said that Future Jr. was aware that he was going to be a big brother soon.
E! News also said that Ciara and Russell Wilson allegedly know the sex of their baby, but are still keeping it a secret at the moment. A source said that Ciara is going through the pregnancy very well and feels good.
