Xbox Scorpio Release, News & Updates: Console Looking Good, Says Microsoft; Schedule On Track, Should Sony Be Worried?

The Xbox Scorpio continues to dazzle the competition, given that the PlayStation 4 is one that has a target on its back. Nevertheless, Microsoft has not tightened the noose on letting out information regarding the status on one of their most prized releases.

As some may already be aware, the Xbox Scorpio has quite the resume up its sleeves, or at least as what is known. Given that Microsoft has been quite open to those following them, a new update has befallen the community, which as of this point is considerably great news.

According to a recent tweet by Microsoft's Phil Spencer, upon being asked on where the Xbox Scorpio project stands, the console is already facing great progress. The good news does not stop there, as Spencer declared success as well in the schedule, saying that they are considerably ahead of the goal.

Spencer also gave his word to GameSpot earlier in the month that the Xbox Scorpio plan is shaping up well and is ahead of their timeline. Despite such free time, however, the team is said to not slack off at all, ensuring that the performance of the console will be in tip-top shape, as well as the games for it. Due to the aforementioned traits for the Xbox Scorpio, it is almost an immense boost of confidence for the company, with the price to align properly according to its strong sides and qualities.

The Xbox Scorpio is already being eyed as the most powerful console to ever be released, with over 6 teraflops of GPU and will be able to support virtual reality for 4K gaming. If asked about the launch period, fans can assume that Microsoft will most likely release the Xbox Scorpio by late 2017. Stay posted for news and updates here at GamenGuide.
