It was one edge of your seat match between Karasuno and Shiratorizawa. In the recently aired  episode 4, both team show their expertise, coming up with novel ways to go around their opponent's strengths, a strategy that would likely continue in the coming 'Haikyuu" Season 3 Episode 5.

Now that the Guess Monster Satori Tendo's insane blocking skills is more or less under control, the Karasuno team focused on the remaining threat, the overpowered striker of the Shiratorizawa team Ushijima. Using a three-man block, they succeeding in controlling the direction of Ushijima's strikes to an area where a teammate is ready to receive it. While initially effective, it is uncertain if the same blocking technique will still work in the coming "Haikyuu" Season 3 Episode 5 as Shiratorizawa will surely find a way to go around it.

Just as Karasuno was leading by a point at 23 - 22, Shiratorizawa feigned an attack but instead executed a dump shot tying up the score once again at 23 all.
