"Halo Wars 2" is coming to Xbox One and PC on February 2017. The game is supposed to be a follow-up to the original Halo game that was released in 2009.
Prior to the expected release of "Halo Wars 2," gamers were able to try it out and they eventually learn many things about the game. However, the information they got were just about the gameplay modes so 343 Industries stepped in to explain more about the upcoming new version.
Game Narrative
Firstly, the video game developer revealed the story that will be the main base for "Halo Wars 2." The company further shared that the game will present a more captivating plot compared to the previous versions of the game.
The story of "Halo Wars 2" has been set to 28 years after the first Halo Wars. The Spirit of Fire squad need to piece a puzzle together so they can recall the past and prepare for what is coming ahead of them.
Characters
In an interview with Game Spot, Kevin Grace, design director of 343 Industries, explained some details about the "Halo Wars 2" characters. "We don't want to squander any of those characters that we spent so long cultivating these awesome things," he said.
He added that at the moment, they do not know yet which of the characters from the original "Halo Wars" game will make it to the newest installment. Grace also assured fans that there are big chances that some of the characters from the old Halo versions are making their appearance.
There are speculations that favorites such as Spartan Locke, Arbiter and Master Chief are likely to be included in "Halo Wars 2." Then again, this detail has yet to be confirmed by 343 Industries.
Release Date & 'Halo 6' Details
"Halo Wars 2" has been confirmed for Feb. 21, 2017 release and it is now available for pre-order in Xbox store. Elsewhere, it was rumored that "Halo 6" will follow soon after and it will arrive sometime in 2018.
