The recently released Go Pro Hero 5 has brought great additional features for adventure enthusiasts. On the other hand, Xiaomi's Yi 4K continues to stun action camera users with its quality photos and similarities to Go Pro for a very cheap price.

Specs
The Go Pro Hero 5 is armed with a 4K to 8K resolution recording capability with its 12MP camera. It is also now dust resistant and waterproof for up to 10 meters. The Snapdragon 800 chipset of the device enables it to improve its stabilization feature.
For the Xiaomi Yi 4K, a 4K video footage is also possible with the help of a Sony IMX377 12-megapixel camera lens. It can record time-lapse videos and footages and treat users to its 2.19-inch screen which was previously not available in the first Xiaomi Yi model.
Battery life and other features
Go Pro Hero 5 has a battery capacity of 1,160 mA while Yi K's is larger at 1,400 mAH. In terms of features, the Go Pro offering has a voice control feature which allows users to control the action camera without touching or pressing a button.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Yi 4K Action Camera has a built in tripod mount on its body, something that the GoPro did not offer with the Hero 5. GoPro users can also mount their cameras on a tripod using a separate case which will be for an extra cost.

There is a big difference in terms of pricing between the two cameras. The Go Pro Hero 5 is sold for $399 while the Xiaomi Yi 4K is priced at $250 only. This is a big price difference which will make users think about purchasing the more expensive action camera.
