"Watch Dogs 2" and Twitch Prime struck a deal so with the upcoming November freebies, in-game content for the second installment of the "Watch Dogs" has been chosen to be part of the goodies. Twitch members can get this free for the month of November only.
What is Twitch Prime?
It is additional perks given to Amazon Prime subscribers. Those who will sign up for Amazon Prime membership will automatically get Twitch in their accounts. All members are entitled to get free games and exclusive in-game content every 30 days. And as mentioned earlier, November loot include "Watch Dogs 2" in-game content.
On Twitch blog site, it was announced that Ubisoft's upcoming game, the "Watch Dogs 2," is available from Nov. 7 to Dec. 12. Twitch members are given free access to Twitch-themed hoodie then they can play as Marcus Holloway, a bright hacker who lives in San Francisco Bay Area.
Twitch is making the deal extra sweeter by offering 20 percent off when Prime members pre-order the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version of "Watch Dogs 2" from Amazon. Buyers were also assured of getting their item on the same day when the game is released.
Shipping is free as well. However, it should be noted that this offer is only for residents of the United States at this time.
Release Date of PC Version
Aside from the consoles, "Watch Dog 2" will have its PC version too. It was initially set for release on Nov. 15, but Ubisoft decided to release it later. The 8-day delay will give the game developer more time to tweak features and improve the game for the satisfaction of PC users.
"Our team is committed to quality and delivering the best Watch Dogs experience possible," the team wrote on their blog. "Therefore, we have made the tough but necessary decision to move the launch date of 'Watch Dogs 2' to November 29th."
Meanwhile, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users will get to experience the "Watch Dogs 2" gameplay first since the Nov. 15 launch date will proceed with the console versions. As stated by Ubisoft team, the PC version will come later on Nov. 29.
